Re: Video TV is a drug (2)
i think nowadays children spend too much time on screen, as consequence they forget to develope usual capacities as a normal child has to do ( drawing for exemple)

The draws of the children who only look less one hour per day the TV are much more developped than the others. It seems that the Tv is making us stupid if we watch it too many times

Yes, that's why children would be stimulated by others things than screens, like sport, drawing, music and cultural activitiesMimille a écrit:The draws of the children who only look less one hour per day the TV are much more developped than the others. Camille, can you develop? You mean it's not as bad as war, for example, if some people watch TV too much?

Look at this document. On the top, it's a mix of drawings from children from 5 to 6 years old who watch TV less than 1 hour a day, at the bottom, its a mix of drawings from kids the same age who watch TV more than 3 hours a day.
What do you think?
I think that television has not a good influence on children, they don't see the reality has it is, in the shape... and their drawing are similar that shows that the tv has the same effect on these kids..

When you watch TV three hours a day, you must have a problem. When you're five or six, at this age, I think you must be playing with your friends than rather be stick in front of the tv at home

I don't think it happens because they become stupids, but only because they don't learn to see and think about it. So they don't have any memory of situations: the TV is their memory. Don't you think it's a quite great way to convince people of crazy things?

We can say that the video and photo show media today's society.
In the picture , we can see that the tv represent a drug with the plug in the arm like syringe. And in the video the men who talking is may or seems stressed.

I agree, and that's why I think it's an important problem. The children today are the generation of tomorrow, and if they are used to believing everything they see on TV, it can have bad consequences.
Re: Video TV is a drug (2)
At this age, it's important to developp our skills (like imagination). If we don't, it will be harder on the future to do it

Draws of "addict" children are more strange and unprecise than other children

I'm choked by the picture where we can see drawings of children who spend time on watching tv a lot or not,
we can see that there are consequences, for exemple children are deconected to reality..

I guess it depends what we mean by "addiction", when do you become an addict? 1h a day? 2hours ? 5? or just if you watch TV everyday?
